Following his red-pill-induced renaissance, Neo faces head on the structures on reality/nonreality that have plagued his existence from his initial conception. What is and is not are now juxtaposed in a repulsive, sickening manner. Indeed, the Construct is not real. But on fundamental levels, Neo’s life has been negated and remolded into a new, entirely opposing world-view. Existence and non-existence have become one in the same.
